The Tocqueville Program of CSS–NL and The Aesthetic City present the lecture “Civic architecture: is classicism more appropriate?” by American architecture and art critic Catesby Leigh, with a response from Dutch civic entrepreneur Ruben Hanssen.
Convening in beautiful Bluffton, SC from July 30 - Aug 4, we will explore the foundational principles of the United States in the context of Western civilization.

5/ The JQA Fellowship brings together a group of foreign policy practitioners who are currently guiding America’s strategic and diplomatic efforts. The program consists of two brief retreats in the DMV and a series of monthly off-the-record conversations.
4/ The inaugural Caledonia Fellowship, located at the historic Carberry Tower in East Lothian, Scotland, will explore the legacy and influence of the Scottish Enlightenment. The deadline to apply is May 20.
3/ The Europa Fellowship meets in the beautiful Károlyi Castle of Fehérvárcsurgó, Hungary. Residents of Europe (particularly those from Central and Eastern Europe) are encouraged to apply. The deadline to apply is May 6.
2/ Our Carolina Fellowship meets in beautiful Bluffton, South Carolina, and explores the interrelationships between liberty, prosperity, and beauty. The deadline to apply is April 14.
