Chesa: "I don't want to participate in any kind of police prosecution." SFPD: "We don't prosecute, sir, that's the district attorney's office." Chesa: "Okay, whatever, I don't want to participate." This is the person in charge of prosecuting alleged criminals in San Francisco.

So disappointed he wastes taxpayer and police resources. Guess he learned that from us!

Is that really Chesa Boudin filming? I’m doubtful that it is... not tryna pick a fight, it just stretches belief that’s the DA
-
It's really him, and perhaps Chesa would like to confirm himself.

Entitlement. Arrogance. Belittling of the officers. He would make a great public defender, though.

He is a public defender still but has the DA title.

i remember seeing this a while ago. This is well before he got elected but it shows how he has some hate for the cops just like his parents do.

Correct, this was filmed before he was elected DA. I suspect if more voters saw this video (and understood the purpose of the DA's office), we wouldn't have elected Chesa to be the lead law enforcement official in our city. He should be a public defender, not a DA.

He wasn't obstructing or interfering with their job. It seems to me the cops were upset that someone was filming. Last I checked, the first amendment gives us that right. he even pointed out that there are cameras everywhere.
