Apparently SFPD just discovered that $8M worth of stolen goods from various SF Walgreens were listed on Amazon. Our prices here are higher and each store has ~$200/hr security. Michelle- How many of your peers are as plugged into SF politics as you? A big problem is that many people aren't aware of these developments. There isn't a centralized, easily accessible way to stay informed of this stuff, so people only get upset when it hits their front door.

Many many many of Michelle’s peers are plugged into SF politics and spend time daily to stay aware. The issue is that our policymakers are so out of touch and love to pretend SF is a policy playground.

Interesting. I find that almost all of my peers are completely unaware of politics at the local level, but consume every ounce of national politics. When I tell them about actions by @DeanPreston or @chesaboudin they express complete disbelief.
