Crew pressure suits look modern and not bulky. Dragon was originally going to propulsivly land but NASA shut down that idea pretty quick. Water landings are still the safest vs landing on land. Dragon is also reusable unlike Apollo.

Very good. Good luck to this new crew! But I didn't think a storm could stop a super rocket going straight into space vertically
-
It’s in case of emergency recovery. Like if the dragon has to emergency separate from the falcon 9. All weather has to be good in the recovery area, which is inside the path they are referring to.

Better safe than sorry! Disappointed since we drove up from Lauderdale.
See you Wednesday

We drove down from SC, and have a friend flying down from DC just for this launch.. Planned to head back on the 1st, so we won't get to see it at all. Absolutely disappointed :(

Just a basic question. Those suite: Other than to make the Crew look like Astronauts, What purpose do they serve? They aren't a regular Spacesuit. No Climate Box or Oxygen.
-
They are pressure suits, in case there's a loss of atmosphere in the capsule. They are not for space walks or anything like that, hence no pack. They plug in to systems in dragon that ensure air is supplied and personal comfort (temperature etc) is maintained. And they look cool
