    Fox News is going to run buck wild with the Chris Cuomo story...and they absolutely should. If the shoe were on the other foot, CNN would air breathless coverage about this inexcusable breach of journalistic ethics, especially if Fox didn't discipline the host at all.

    This isn’t a defense of Cuomo, quite the contrary. It’s just to point out there are business calculations taking place that go beyond … *ethics in journalism.* One of these calculations is the *appearance of ethics in journalism,* which is the variable here (see full thread >>

    The revelation that Cuomo had advised his brother during strategy sessions has vexed staffers inside CNN. Multiple CNN staffers told me they were bothered by Cuomo's conduct and the violation of traditional journalistic standards.
