You can also cancel your NYTimes subscription via chat Log into your digital account on the New York Time's homepage. Navigate to the newspaper's homepage, then click the blue button in the top right corner that says "Log In."

Tell the representative you want to cancel your subscription. Once you do, the representative will ask you why you want to cancel. Tell them why and be firm, since they will probably use sales tactics to convince you not to cancel.

Request proof of cancellation be sent to you via email. If you don't receive the confirmation email within a day or so, initiate a new chat or call them at 1-800-698-4637 to speak with a live person.
