Immense respect and gratitude to Officer Cassucio for doing everything right in what could have amounted to a senseless tragedy.

WHAT?! Seriously?

I drive with my drivers license and registration in my Bible on my dashboard at all times. I do this so that I am not accused of “reaching for something” that’s not there. We have to do and be better all the way around. As a father of a son, I’m grateful of this outcome.
-
As a father of a son--don't you want your son to feel free enough to safely drive his own car? Without needing to signal to a cop he isn't a danger to them? You are talking about the reality of blackness, and I have unending respect for that, and I couldn't possibly understand. &
-
This is the exact dialogue that needs to take place! 1. Stop unnecessarily killing black people. 2. Stop unnecessarily calling the police on black people. 3. Stop hiding beyond the “code” when you know others are committing crimes and hiding behind a badge.
-
Ok. This I am here for. But I still don't understand the original praise? Was it sarcasm? Sarcasm is difficult to read via Tweet. Please let it have been sarcasm.

I thought about Tamir Rice with his toy gun. They said this was a BB Gun, which could’ve given the wrong person “their right reason” to shoot. I’m grateful that didn’t happen and those boys went home instead of the morgue.
-
Yes, me too. I moved to Ohio just before Tamir Rice was killed by the police. When we protested, the police stood on rooftops across from the courthouse. They pointed rifles at us. I listened to Tamir's mother speak and rally us with upmost strength. I have no grace for CPD.

Open an carry state! The could have an AK-47 and not break the law! This is race soldiers doing the devil's work!
-
Wow! The cop taught the kids valuable lessons, but you ignored all of it and yelled out RACISM!
-
More shocked they didn't kill the boys!
-
Amen thank God there's still alive.

He drew down on a couple of kids bcuz they were blk. By his own words, that's pretty evident. He then proceeded to pat himself on the back with some bullshit stereotypical speech for all the reasons he should've killed them but didn't bcuz he's such a good cop

-
I want to see the part of the video when he pulled up with his gun drawn on them before he put it down and started the body cam footage

I thought Ohio was an open carry state? Why does it only seem like black kids get threatened with police murder when holding toy guns? If Ohio is open carry, why call the cops? I am just guessing here, but if these kids were white, I bet nobody would have called the cops.

Rules are different for us... Here in Ohio.. Tamir Rice found that out and he had a toy.
