Thank you to the UN officials for issuing this letter to the Brazilian government, strongly denouncing the charges brought against me, not only as unjust retaliation for our reporting but also as a grave attack on a free press generally:

At the precinct I covered (Des Moines 36), Sanders won more than 50% and Pete got zero, which should net him 4 delegates when it posts. He's now behind by 3.5. If that's the case, here are the people who won it for Bernie, counting themselves off 1 to 69

., you call this an ad hominem attack. But as your former fact-checker intern, I’d red-pen that. You have a record of predicting exactly the opposite of what will occur, and we must factor that in in assessing your 2020 prognostications.

There aren't a lot of moments of pure patriotism and self-sacrifice in American life anymore, of bravery in the face of what will be a remainder of a life filled with threats and disparagement. Let us honor one when we see it. Bravo and thank you, .

It’s almost forgivable to take 3 days to report the numbers if, when you finally do it, they’re perfectly accurate. But when you spend those three days telling us you’re double and triple checking them because it’s critical to get this right, then it’s still sloppy...c’mon man.

The idea of overlooking some light treason to enable an infrastructure project is literally the plot of Arrested Development. NY Times op-eds are being penned with the ethical framework of George Bluth Sr.

Was this meant to be a DM or did you mean to tweet out this instruction to your super PAC? (Fun fact about how some campaigns exploit our broken campaign finance laws: if it was a DM it would be illegal.)

Nate is about as careful and cautious as it gets when it comes to matters like this - one might say way too cautious - so for him to be saying this is a big deal. He's basically calling into question the integrity of the process and the results:

Great point by Romney on Bolton: I voted to hear him b/c I thought it might give rise to a "reasonable doubt." Really sticks it to McConnell et al for the witness vote.

Romney will have no friends in politics. The people applauding him today will forget him tomorrow. The people condemning him today will hold a grudge. But he is doing something courageous and principled and his grandkids will remember him for it.

"Mitt Romney is doing something nearly unheard of these days: He’s putting his country above his party. He’s voting his conscience when doing so comes at a cost. He’s not rationalizing weakness and timidity by prettying them up as virtues." My thoughts

I honestly didn't think of Mitt Romney as being a particularly brave guy, but this requires genuine courage.
