Got 5th at #i62 where top 4 is the prize money. Wouldn't recommend playing tournaments with casuals, nothing interesting about losing to random decks that make no sense. Played bad in swiss yesterday but today I got straight up highrolled
I get that but if you're offering good prize money you need to have the competitive formats. Same with WESG how they had an insane prize pool and no ban (in qualifiers at least, idr about the rest). People are trying to make money in these tournaments, it's a basic (1/2)

principle that when it comes to earning money tournaments should be as fair and competitive as possible. This isn't roulette, random or uncontrollable factors need to be minimised with money on the line

You can argue about the best formats all you like, but not having a ban isn't a random or uncontrollable factor. That is a decision that was made for that tournament format, and it's clearly designed to be more approachable and casual for people who aren't super competitive
