Got 5th at #i62 where top 4 is the prize money. Wouldn't recommend playing tournaments with casuals, nothing interesting about losing to random decks that make no sense. Played bad in swiss yesterday but today I got straight up highrolled
For me having a ban is the basis of tournament play as it lets you counter/target stuff effectively. All I can say is I've played no ban a few times and it's always awful. You have to bring stuff that beats everything and then it just feels like playing ladder

I think more casual tournaments can have more casual formats, and Insomnia definitely seems to be a more casually oriented tournament than others. I don't think that's inherently wrong I just think it's different goals for the same tournament clashing here

I get that but if you're offering good prize money you need to have the competitive formats. Same with WESG how they had an insane prize pool and no ban (in qualifiers at least, idr about the rest). People are trying to make money in these tournaments, it's a basic (1/2)
