Got 5th at #i62 where top 4 is the prize money. Wouldn't recommend playing tournaments with casuals, nothing interesting about losing to random decks that make no sense. Played bad in swiss yesterday but today I got straight up highrolled

Basically yeah, open decklists would've been nice too given that some people were playing homebrew decks I've never seen before in my life

Do you think having a ban would mean that you don't lose to random decks that make no sense? I do agree a ban is usually a better format, but I think it's interesting to explore different options. LHS tournaments have been scarce recently so having no ban should create strategies

For me having a ban is the basis of tournament play as it lets you counter/target stuff effectively. All I can say is I've played no ban a few times and it's always awful. You have to bring stuff that beats everything and then it just feels like playing ladder
