Vic has been trying to get approved for YouTube Partnership for several months. He is a creator of original content, and him being declined for 'duplication' is absurd. We need answers. Or at least a better explanation than a throwaway copy paste notification.
Hey, @TeamYouTube leaving an open letter here regarding Victor McKnight's situation.

'For fun' I decided to browse the YouTube Help Forums to see if it was possible to find some answers to this, and all I'm finding are more creators with an eerily similar stories, and no word or help from YT.

This isn't an isolated issue. It's a widespread problem.
@Xacxon's channel is just one example. And it feels like something YT is trying to just ignore this problem in hopes that it resolves itself.Show this thread -
I've watched Vic working with YT reps and trying to get to the bottom of this, or at least get an answer from someone. Only to be met with short replies, and functionally blocked from receiving any kind of help.

I've watched this unfold over past SEVERAL months, and every. single. time. the results of Vic's efforts to be approved are always irritatingly consistent and with no clear explanation.

Don't get me wrong. I appreciate YouTube and everyone onboard. I understand that running such vast platform is daunting at best, and in most instances, it's understandable that a little bit patience would normally pay off.

But this is after all pleas for help have been repeatedly dismissed or ignored. And while patience may indeed pay off in the end. This is getting absurd.

This reflects very badly on how YT treats its creators overall, regardless of views or subscriber count. All I ask for Vic are answers from someone who will listen. Thank you.
