Do you know of any independent blog out there doing regular content on coffee and espresso? Tell me about it!

A thread from back when we redesigned and relaunched CoffeeGeek in early 2021. A way-back trip. Bonus stupid goofy photo of me at the end from 1999. ;)

Want some CoffeeGeek WAY WAY BACK? Here's the very first design I did for the website, in 1999; 2 years before the site actually launched (end of 2001), and 21 years ago today. (thank God I never used this design).

In an effort to find real content about coffee and espresso that isn't a) sales driven, b) by vendors, c) AI produced, CoffeeGeek'ery Magazine on Flipboard is relaunched. Real content posted every day. Even from CG's competitors. Cuz that's how I roll.

Looks like the XL at $80 was a hard pill for some; the company announced on IG that they are permanently dropping the price of the XL down to $70 (at least for a long while). Also retro-giving a $10 payback to those who bought at $80.

The #Flair58 and the #SuperKop are two different beasts. - Flair 58: direct lever, visual aids (pressure gauge), active heating, long throw lever, steady pressure. - Superkop: ratchet lever, pressure aided by gears; no active heating / less stuff to break, brews in "spurts"

Will I go with Flair 58 or this? Your review will weigh heavy on my decision.
