This has been an amazing experience, thank you Arizona 💙

In the weeks since the election, I have spent time reflecting on all that we’ve accomplished in my time as Chair of the Arizona Democratic Party. We've had some HUGE wins, and I am so, so proud of us. I've also spent time reflecting on what's next.

For those who don't know, I am also a State Senator for Legislative District 26, and I was just elected Senate Minority Leader. There is so much work to be done in the State Legislature and many challenges ahead of us. For that reason, I have decided not to run for Chair again.

Right now, I feel my skills are most useful in the Senate to help get things done for Arizonans. We have incredible opportunities with a Democratic Governor and our mighty 14 Democrats, however, we are faced with my challenges with the GOP majorities. While I wish I could do both, it would not be fair to the people of Arizona to serve as Chair if I could not give the role my undivided attention.
