This is a classic of its type and well done to Catherine Tate for bringing Nan into politics. I especially love the bit when she says “unlike OTHER racist Parties”!

Saw my oncologist this morning. He told me there was nothing on my recent CT scan, and that he doesn't want to see me again. 😍 Five years ago, when I found out I had cancer, I didn't think I'd still be here today and I'm feeling a wee bit teary as a result. Onwards with life!

I’m afraid this is simply not true, . In real terms, it equates to an annual percentage increase of 3.4%. Ie: *lower* than the average % increase of 4% since NHS founded in 1948. And *substantially* lower then the 6% increases under Brown & Blair. Facts matter.

Englishness must be really fragile if it can be destroyed by people speaking another language on a bus, selling Polish food in a supermarket, or making sausage rolls with no meat in them.

40% of Leave voting Brits are ‘bothered’ about visitors from non-English speaking countries talking to each other in their native language. I find that very sad ☹️ Hands up those who speak in Spanish, Portuguese, French etc to their partners, when in Spain, Portugal or France?

Who could blame Jeremy Corbyn for repeatedly saying ‘I told you so’ when 1 by 1 over the next few years, his warnings aboutTory Brexit plans come true? This could be first: US wants to hike NHS drug prices in a Brexit trade deal, top diplomat declares

*POLL* We are being told we should come together after Brexit. How long do you think it will take for a semblance of unity to appear in a country split down the middle Now? After a trade deal with EU? When the benefits of Brexit are seen (Rees-Mogg says that may be 50 years)?

I hear you can be arrested for speaking English nowadays, Boris Johnson is playing it safe and sticking with gibberish.

This gives the pretence of taking action but in reality will sort nothing. Whether a terrorist is released to carry out an attack this year, next year or the year after matters not a jot to the victims.

Breaking/ just tried to ban certain national newspapers from a Number 10 briefing. This is truly sinister stuff. Hats off to the BBC, ITV, Mail, Telegraph & Times for walking out too in protest, rather than let him get away with it.

So. ‘Taking our Country back’ = wearing a Union flag hat, singing WW2 songs and telling people who talk differently or look a bit brown to go back home? All to celebrate having no say in EU rules that affect us while continuing to pay £billions?

Miller's pizza on Baggot St this eve, a man came in, said 'I'm homeless, I'm cold and I'm hungry. Would you have any leftovers I could take with me?' The waiter took a pen and said, 'Take a seat. What can I get you?' That's how easy it is not to turn someone away.

Spotted a few high profile Brexiteers telling us that planes are still flying, food is still on the shelves etc. You'd think they'd know about the transition period wouldn't you?

Under cover of coronavirus, the US and its 'allies' are waging war against China. The racist travel bans and media hysteria are not approved by WHO. China's response to the emergency has been a model - unlike the US whose current flu epidemic has killed 10,000 and isn't news.
