    : We are sending two of our hydrologists to the Government Operations Centre, in Ottawa, to interpret data on the movement, distribution and patterns of the floods happening now on a national scale. This will help with the response for all.

    🚁 Two days after a exercise, a team of rescue specialists showed the importance of their training. CCGS Martha L. Black's crew was deployed to provide first aid to an ill man on a ship in Lake Ontario and evacuated him. to the crew!

    3/3 News from : Merry Island Lightstation now boasts a battery 🔋 bank, an inverter system, a solar array, wind turbines and a control and automation system. With the new setup, 98% of the power needed to run this site comes from renewable energy. !

    2/3 News from : Check out all of the sustainable upgrades at 📍 Merry Island Lightstation! This remote site was powered by diesel generators. We converted it to renewable energy and upgraded the diesel system for use as emergency backup.
