12k satellites?! Will our heavens soon be as clogged as Earth’s in the movie Wall-E?

Likely not. Although 12k is a lot, they'll be far enough apart to not do such a thing. The movie though does put into perspective that we have to be careful and learn how to effectively remove space debris.
