For a game outputting 1440p: On a 4K TV, we uprez to 2160p and output; On a 1080p TV, we supersample to 1080p. Keep those questions coming

I *knew* you were going to ask that, just ran out of space. On X, we will effectively output native over HDMI in this case at 1440p.

, I was informed by the graphics team today that 1440 resolution support is coming soon and is not yet implemented.

Freesync is supported by X but no games support it yet.

4k is a little too much for PC 60 fps, and 27" FHD has way too low ppi for me, and QHD would be ideal ;)
Please tell me Xbox One X will finally support 21:9 as well then!

and then what? no console game supports it yet.
If this is true, then I am very, very happy! I use my 1440p monitor with my X-Box so 4K -> 1440p output will be fantastic!
