@CloudFlare guys, I’m getting 524 errors from your Joburg endpoint for some users. Any ideas?

it eventually went away. it was def not on our side - no queue on our app and normal response times to people who could connect.

according to docs 524 should happen when response takes >100 seconds, which was not the case.

it happened while/just after you had DNS issues in joburg, so probably related to that.

won't be related - the issue was delays with DNS, not the CDN itself in this case
