Heads up, Creators: On Dec 13-14 you may see a noticeable decrease in your sub count as we remove spam subscriptions. If spam is removed, you'll see a YouTube Studio alert: https://goo.gl/qGDBvX This should help give you confidence that the subs you do have are real fans!
Can you specify how you decided an account is a spam account? Transparency is this would be very helpful. For example, are you looking accounts that are subscribed to a channel but rarely/never watch?

Just an example of how my account may be considered spam. Would just really like to know how spam accounts are verified.

Spam subs includes fake/artificial means of subscription. We use technology to identify such accounts & we don't remove legit subscribers. Also, if you're subscribed to a channel & you haven't watched in a while, you'll still be subscribed. This update only removes spam accounts.

I am subscribed to several channels I never watch, but use the subscription/notification feature to let my kids know when their favorite Youtubers have published a new video. They are too young to have accounts so they watch without signing in when I tell them about a new video
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
