Jane Doe (L) discusses all the horrible housing units she was placed in when the THU was disbanded. She ended up upstate in men's facilities even though her state ID stated she was a woman--where she didn't feel safe bc she was in dorms without her own cell and door to close.

Dany Greene is so great discussing how court officers often refuse to include a non-binary gender marker of "X" on the blue-cards sent along with people from courts to Rikers and cause harm and violence. There isn't a current process to change the paperwork.

Carlina has new handful of questions ref placement decisions for the SCU someone has sent her to ask and she is a little angrier. Molina keeps foiling her ire with his slow, grandpa-like, cadence that he tries to distract us with.

Gale wants data on services received on Rosies for the last year and wants to know how many people have been given svs and are they happy? CHS doesn't have or a survey but says they can talk about it. Team has cared for 36 people with complex care in the SCU since last August.

Follow-up statements come on evaluating efficacy of training and implementation of learning for everyone--the people being effected by the trainings need a say on what is working and what is not etc which is not new but needs to be re-emphasized.

Council has asked about training and programs for staff regarding gender sensitivity /anti bias/diversity/inclusion and programming for people in SCU and Molina rattles off a list of programs and training for five minutes but only for the COs.
