I see your point. Although... Regardless of previous reasoning, there is medical benefits to male circumcision while for female genital mutilation there is not. Hence why the practice would be illegal in the United States

That's a claim that gets made a lot without evidence. I personally don't follow a religion, but support anyone's rights to do so, as long as following that faith does not harm anyone else, in this case cutting off a part of someone else's body without their consent is harm.

So you're making a claim, none of the ones I know are. Maybe that argument could be made for @Clopdads but since he was born into a jewish family, and hates the fact he was cut by said family, he has something of a right to hate his upbringing.
