Today, German Flag Carrier Lufthansa launched a direct flight between Newcastle and Munich as part of a wider 15% increase in capacity to the UK by the group. As international business continues to invest in Britain, Project Fear lies in tatters.

Funny how those who make a living fighting such discrimination in Britain and the US are strangely silent when it is the EU that is found wanting.

Will the UK stop imports from the EU because the EU has lower standards on plastic, maternity leave or animal welfare? No, says Boris. So why is the EU making such a suggestion?

Daily Telegraph leader: “If Brussels is reneging on its side of the deal, then the UK should withhold (our £39 bn) until they abide by it”. Amen to that.

When the EU tried to overturn the democratic rejection of the EU Constitution in France and the Netherlands, they succeeded. When the EU tried to overturn Brexit, the British people said “Not this time!” 🇬🇧

I don’t “blame” them. I *thank* them. Without all the sneering it would have been a very different contest. The Remain Campaign was one of the worst political endeavours of modern times & its most prominent supporters really harmed it. I know many who voted remain think so too

    1. Why does an extremist Islamist promoting terrorism only get a 3 year prison sentence? 2. Why does he still only serve half of that sentence? 3. Why do the authorities let him out even though they believe he is still dangerous? 4. And repeat. Again and again.

Risk of trade talks going badly is the focus of R4's WorldThisWeekend. So announces as if it was news. It's the same each week! Brexit's (real) dangers get MANY times the airtime on BBC than the long-term opportunities. They call it 'public service' broadcasting.

This is the new face of the Left: state control of the fourth estate. If we’d voted for Corbyn, this would have been our fate.

Another week, another video of police and firefighting forces clashing in France.. not reporting on this yet again though.. Makes one wonder if their senior pro-EU editors simply won’t paint the continent in a bad light after Brexit.

The BBC refusing to show the PMs address to the nation was utterly shameful. This should’ve been heard in every household in the land. Uplifting, motivational, and inspiring on one of the most significant moments for our nation in decades.

Following the threat to Lark Rise farm I feel like a piece of wreckage on a rock. If the East West railway is wanted - who closed the last one? Not Dr Beeching but Cambridge University. The new one should therefore be on free University land.

Should I stay or should I go? If you’re unsure if university is right for you, why not consider an apprenticeship? They are available in a wide range of careers and you could even do a degree-level apprenticeship. Find vacancies here:

Nicola Sturgeon openly campaigned to stop Brexit—that is to say she wanted to reject the result of a democratic referendum. So why should we listen to her demands for another one for Scotland? If you don’t respect referendum results you shouldn’t be allowed to hold one.

It’s not a magic number but I’m pleased to reach 100K Followers on Twitter. I never imagined when went on Twitter to support approval for Golden Rice, which was finally approved on Dec. 18, that I could reach so many people with my message of sensible environmentalism. Thank you!

First the crash was going to come immediately after the vote. Then when Article 50 was triggered. Then when we left. Now at some point next year. We’re dealing with a kind of doomsday cult: the apocalypse is always just around the corner.

One day in and so far: ❌No food riots ❌No medicine shortages ❌No gridlocked motorways ❌No migrant camps in Kent ❌No collapse in house prices ❌No emergency tax rises ❌No world war Weren't we told that "It's not Project Fear, it's Project Reality"?

Boris Johnson will today rule out any free trade agreement with Brussels which forces Britain to align with EU rules. The European Union wants to stifle our full potential as an independent nation. To quote our Foreign Secretary yesterday: "It just ain't happening!"
