What can we do about this
Making it illegal to bring food and water to people standing in long lines that are only long because of policies you created to specifically and intentionally limit the electoral power of Black people is honestly more egregious and abhorrent than I have the words for.

Vote consciously. Fund opposition candidates. Send food and water deliveries when we vote get people registered and card carrying ID holders

A lot of it won’t make it past challenges. But they should be ashamed. Hell, I’m ashamed for them .

The constitution gives states broad latitude to run elections. And this SCOTUS, post-Shelby, has not been sympathetic to claims of partisan gerrymandering—even when it’s a proxy for racial gerrymandering. Victory in the courts is not certain.
