I've been checking in with every one of my students to make sure they have Internet access at home so we can continue classes remotely. Also leaving myself as a resource if they struggle with anything- food, water, healthcare. I'll mediate for them to the appropriate folks @ uni

I'm doing the same. Do you have ideas for those without internet at home? I'm thinking of holding office hours at local library, but don't know what to do when they close. Would love to hear ideas!!!

I’m at a public uni and our vault isn’t filled with cash, it’s full of donated produce because it’s a food pantry because our students are already struggling with food insecurity and homelessness.

Most universities have petitions in place to allow students in those type of situations to stay on campus. I believe the main concern is students returning from spring break travel.

Poor students can’t afford to do spring break travel.
