We need to end non-medical capture of people, strike the second clause of the 13th, and amend the constitution to require universal minimum domestic support systems such as food ration, water, shelter, medicine, education. No more patchwork charities. Dedicated funding.

I kind of feel that they abused their rights as a citizen, the reason they were put in jail, and shouldn’t be able to enjoy those rights until they’ve served their sentence. If we aren’t giving them the right to freedom, then I can’t imagine giving the right to vote...

One person I overheard discussing this said we can’t let incarcerated felons vote because they might vote to abolish the law they broke and therefore end their sentence. I don’t even know where to begin with that.

I'm ok with people voting after their release but why should a murderer vote while serving? (I know extreme example, but the exclusion would be lifted for all, if passed).
