    I am saddened to learn of Irv Cross’ death. As the first Black analyst on national television, Irv was a trailblazer. He was a person of faith, high character & kindness. To collaborate with him on the book, “Bearing the Cross”, was a joy. His friendship was a blessing. RIP.

    Sad day! book on Mr. Cross is a must read.

    My thanks to Lamar Jackson for appearing on "Black in the NFL." Lamar is a gifted quarterback. More impressive to me is how he handles success, disappointment, fame & criticism with humility. Hear his thoughts on playing QB and dealing with the scrutiny.

    Loved talking to your Fordham students about the past, present and future of sports media. They asked great questions and were very engaging. The influence that is having on them clearly shows! One year, we'll have to bring your class down for a game!
