    Finished "Raytracing in One Weekend" today! I had already written a small raytracer (shown on the right) myself but this blew that one out of the water completely. Can't recommend it enough. I'll probably try to add emissive materials next. Either that, or go on to the next book.

    Used vulkan to render some of my shadertoys in 8k yesterday. I used renderdoc's API because it couldn't tell when to capture (which is normal since I wasn't presenting) and it was great. Straightforward, well documented. Thank you for making my life simpler every day!

    Looked at my Vulkan renderer again after a long time of overwork on other stuff. Reformatted/deleted half the code. Nice.

    Going back to an old raytracer project and I'm encountering a weird problem. My specular is fine, but reflections are completely wrong. If I change my reflect function from : 2dot(n, i)n - i to : i - 2dot(n,i)n the specular is wrong but reflections are fine. Strange.
