I want to congratulate Antonio Delgado for winning the NY-19 Democratic Primary. I admire him greatly for his gifts, his work ethic, and his single-minded determination. He has my full support and I will do whatever I can to help him beat John Faso.
I will be forever thankful to my staff, family, and all those who volunteered and supported our campaign. Running for Congress has been one of the thrills of my life. We traveled across this district and met with thousands of wonderful people.
It was a truly remarkable experience learning that I will cherish. I also want to thank Jeff Beals, Erin Collier, Brian Flynn, Gareth Rhodes, and Pat Ryan for all the camaraderie we shared; it was an honor to be among them.
We have our work cut out for us - Faso and the Washington Republican machine will be doing everything they can to hold onto this seat. We must continue to work together to make sure we take back our district, the House of Representatives, and our country.
