Point taken. But finding solutions to cover costs that CalVCB currently won’t cover is proactive. What’s important is that this takes burden off the shoulders of small businesses. And it’s a good thing.

Taking the burden off of small businesses (and residents who live above & around them) would be to deter criminal activity in the first place. It would be to help the mentally unwell and address the drug dealers who congregate on this corner to take advantage of the vulnerable.

If @DeanPreston wanted to help the businesses in the Haight. He would have started trying to help months ago. He would have listened to their concerns.He would have visited them. He would have reached out w/ hand sanitizer like he did Cole Valley Businesses 2 blocks away.
