Shaq comes out against vaccine mandates on his podcast. I have gained so much respect for many different people in public positions who have had the courage to stand up for individual freedoms despite all the pressures against doing so.

All said from a position where the vaccine has provided a reprieve. Without the vaccine, the healthcare system would be obliterated. We would be cooked as a society.

At the outset of the pandemic in 2020, When players families were dying, trucks of bodies because funeral homes could not keep up, hospital stacking bodies in air conditioned rooms. That was before the vaccine and just a 5% fatality rate.

I personally know 5 people who’ve died of COVID and they were not vaccinated. Would be here today if they got the jab. Now they’re gone. Likely wishing they were forced.

It’s like a flu bug. And yea I know people who passed but all had pre-existing issues. Just tired of the false rhetoric and fear mongering. We are adults, we don’t need people telling us what we HAVE to do. So glad I run my own biz because I would resign too.
