Why should people trust the CDC when they represent themselves this way? Their entire reason for existing is specifically to know answers to questions like these.

I have worked in funeral industry for past 3 years. I have witnessed several instances of people passing away who had no symptoms of covid, but died of heart attacks/stroke and because they had tested positive within 14 days, the cause of death was covid on death certificate

They will never know.. maybe forensic studies over the next 10 years may get it closer. I would look at the excess deaths from 2015 - 2025 compared to some rolling average. I feel that a lot of people that would have died in the next five years were lost in the last 2
