❗️We’ve pushed since 2005 for this program to be utilized & made permanent! If done well, it’ll be *major* improvement to disaster housing recovery. Imagine difference it would’ve made for evacuees from Harvey, Maria, wildfires, more. washingtonpost.com/nation/2022/01

I've done this for many years and it is a great experience and way to give back to the community. And, information you collect will be reported to Congress in the Annual Homeless Assessment Report.

Proud of all my amazing colleagues and friends. They are always impressive, but there's something special about putting them all together. Nice thought !

I’ve always wanted to start a 🧵 of the books my classmates from UCLA wrote. It was always so inspiring to see their dissertations evolve & enter the world as books. I’ll start w/my cohort and work my way up & down. The sociology dept oughta have an “alumni” book display one day.
