It was primarily Stunt Coordinator Glenn Randall, who happened to also own the bullwhips designed by David Morgan, that initially trained Ford for 'Raiders.' When it came time for 'Crystal Skull' it was Anthony DeLongis. The whips were by Joe Strain & Terry Jacka.

I found a whip when I was 10 & learned to crack it.
At age 12, I was bullied. He was bigger & Dad said if the guy is bigger & stronger- you’re allowed an “equalizer.”
I took whip to school. Didn’t touch him, just terrified him a bit.
I got suspended.
Left me the hell alone.
