From what I can see, macOS Monterey 12.3 Beta 2 (21E5206e) fixes the Bluetooth battery drain issue.
I tested 3 times & didn't see a single DarkWake 👍
Test setup:
1. 2018 MBPro that had the issue on 12.3 B1
2. 12.3 Beta 2 and can't reproduce the issue

This screenshot is a better example. The one above at the beginning shows from standby without a BT device. This one is with an Apple magic keyboard connected. The Mac would darkwake every 25 seconds. The battery would drain quickly overnight. The issue also affected desktop Macs

I'm currently in constant comms with apple senior support over this issue, except instead of 'bluetooth/maintenance' its for 'SMC.OutboxNotEmpty smc.70070000 wifibt wlan/' instead causing the wakes - any idea if this is fixed also?

How far can you go? The range should be about 30 feet (taken from the Universal Control guide)
So did they finally put back in the "Allow bluetooth devices to wake this computer" checkbox under the Advanced Bluetooth settings? Really want to stop my devices from waking the computer from an accidental key press or mouse move.
The problem is more accused in Macbook Pro M1, you can lost all of your battery after you sleep and close the lid. Most of the Wakes issues comes from:
-NUB.SPMISw3IRQ nub-spmi0.0x02 rtc
-SMC.OutboxNotEmpty smc.70070000 wifibt wlan
Apple still didn't resolve anything in 12.2.1
