Also these buildings are over 30 years old of not more, built areas that were deemed to be safe and not in a " flood zone" this is due to global warming and the fact there is to much water all at once.
-
If there is water floiding your homes it generally means your in a flood zone.
-
This has only ever happened in the past 3 years, where the house are much older.
-
Thank you! The houses there are old enough but also the communities that are being flooded have been there for hundreds of years! These floods are 1 in a 100 years event, but now it has happened twice in 3 years... You can't just blame this on the people living there
-
I live about 10 minutes away from one of flooded areas and it's horrible.
-
In 2017, I lived just a small road away from the Deux-Montagnes lake, so I know how you feel
-
It's what makes it hard for me to understand people who deny climate change. Some of the house on the water edge in Montreal are hundreds of years old, and never had flooding. Then twice in 3 years
-
Soooo, the one a hundred years ago was climate change?
