    No, I've not said "lockdown forever". Lockdown is a temporary measure to curve the spread, to prevent the NHS from becoming overwhelmed until a vaccine is available. This is what happened during the previous lockdown, hence the restrictions were then lifted.

    Possibly a normal decline in the prevalence of the virus . Who can say? But the timings mean that the decline after April 8 *cannot* have been caused by a shutdown on March 23. Almost two weeks too soon.

    Pretty much the same , there is no evidence, not even correlation, that all these shutdowns have any effect. Amazing, I know, but there it is. My advice, stop believing what governments tell you without checking.

    So hang on, the occupancy rates for the 8th November are very close to the averages of the whole of November over the last 5 years. Thats despite 2 national lockdowns, local lockdowns, tier systems & social distancing measures. Imagine where we would be now without all of that!

    Leaving aside the poor parallel between Facebook and a publisher, , the claim of factual inaccuracy against Prof Heneghan , on which this action is based, has not even been argued, let alone proved. Why do you defend such an obvious denial of natural justice?

    A legal challenge against what? A private company deciding what is published in their publication? Even you don't believe there's a legal case here. You don't get to print whatever you want in someone else's publication no matter how full of yourself you are.

    The failure of press, Parliament, courts and public opinion to challenge arbitrary authority since March has created or revived the Strong State almost everywhere. This was what I was trying to warn against, while so many sat on their backsides. Probably too late now.
