@ClarkGoble FWIW my WP sites have survived many (grateful!) fireballs, always with the help of a WP caching plugin. -
@danielpunkass I have one installed but I still have a weird condition were a process goes out of control. Happens every few weeks. -

@danielpunkass I think if I had straight html fragments with categories in the header I could make a conversion to a static blog. -

@ClarkGoble Essentially caching a WP site makes it as resilient to fireballing as any static site. -
@ClarkGoble If you aren’t running W3 Total Cache yet, I would strongly encourage you to try that before giving up on WordPress. -
@ClarkGoble Most static blogs are a hack to get working with MarsEdit. Curious if you have experimented with caching on WP? -

@mjtsai I can’t remember which one I was using. It’s crashing as soon as I reboot. So I suspect it’ll be a day to get it back up. -
