Tip for AI artists--go to artvee.com and find CC0 work you love. Use those artists names in your prompts (several is amazing, smooshing together styles) or use as a base style in diffusion or prosepainter.com. There's SO much emotional depth in this method

you really haven't lived until you've smooshed together klimt, sargent, and hokusai, and then added 3D neon internet-culture vibes to it

If you want the feel of a painting (not exactly, but a semblance), use the name of a cc0 painting with the year in ( ) along with the artist, then add all your descriptive prompt work in. You may get comp or you may get style, but it infuses either way. Example: 1st pic is OG

also, wait, maybe i should know this, is an artist’s ‘style’ technique copyrighted? surely an original derivation is free of enforcement?

Artvee is all public domain artists, so technically you could even take the pieces themselves, add a brushstroke, and it would be fine, but our usage with AI is much more like how a human mind absorbs influences in forming a style :)
