What a fun Quentin Blake illustration. Ok, fess up, which book couldn't you finish? Me? Ulysees by James Joyce.... though I did plough through Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. Still don't have a clue what it's about!

Happy everyone! I’m so thankful for people who encouraged me to read and feel at home in libraries 📚 Here’s me with my own two contributions: stories of outdoor adventures, second chances and real friendship 📖

Writing is an adventure. Adventures are not always comfortable, not always easy, and they will push you to your limits and beyond. Adventures aren’t for the faint of heart, or the lazy. They’re for the strong. Good luck, fellow adventurers!

However bad things are, at least I can be thankful I’m not this strawberry plant, being marketed in 2021 under the unfortunate name Korona.

This is great advice, writers, and applies not just to the beginning of a story or novel but to the beginning of any writing 'session' when we're so anxious to 'start right' that we don't start at all 😭😭😭

Took the day off to do some DIY. Didn't take any before or after photos, so if you could all just picture a home transformation of dramatic and beautiful extent, that'd be great, thanks.
