    DYK that there are Mutt Mitt Stations, with bags installed at the basins in Santa Maria? They have been installed as a convenience and reminder to never leave pet waste in these beautiful open spaces.

    Last night, issued two citations for possession of illegal fireworks. Both were juveniles so they were criminally cited (as opposed to the administrative citation w/ $1,000 fine).

    Two $1,000 citations for lighting illegal fireworks issued last night by (both witnessed by officers with one of the 2 also being caught on video by a resident). Remember only Safe and Sane fireworks can be used in from 11am to 11pm on 4th of July.
