6/6 To keep moth flies away, residents must ensure that stagnant water is cleared in kitchens and bathrooms and that overflows are kept clean.

5/6 Residents are advised to spray bleach around and inside the taps, and inside the overflow of baths and basins, and use hot water to rinse away the bleach.

4/6 Moth flies are active at night and larvae are usually seen in the mornings.

3/6 Moth flies usually go inside taps that have no sieves and lay eggs.

2/6 Moth flies breed in stagnant water and often lay their eggs in the overflow of baths or basins.

1/6 Due to the high temperatures experienced, the City would like to make residents aware of moth flies (or drain flies).
