Well, that was a day.
From all of us here, thank you for sending your love. Lawrence touched the lives of so many in incalculable ways, and it's really something to be the prism through which so much pure love was being beamed today! The celebration of his life continues.

I have no words. I'm grateful for his life and work. Visiting San Francisco once, for work, i stumbled into City Lights, and it was like discovering a magical country. The next time i was in town i went again, and there he was! Wonders never cease.

The changing light at San Francisco
is none of your East Coast light
none of your
pearly light of Paris
The light of San Francisco
is a sea light
an island light...

Extremely grateful for Lawrence Ferlinghetti. I loved to sit and read in City Lights. A haven,! I remember that portrait of Joyce. City Lights and Keystone Corner where were Life felt keenest. Lawrence Ferlinghetti created a humanist space.

Echo on Lawrence Ferlinghetti - the world is a beautiful place to be born into, if you don't mind...
You made us better. They are singing in heaven.
