Medically unwarranted #Circumcision is the permanent removal by a parent of the future adult’s right to self-determination #i2
Nice verb. I’ve been present at two circumcisions - my sons. There was no “plunging” but I understand that your tactic is to shock and awe because the real truths about #circumcision don’t support your anti-religion agenda. #i2

Wow - Your response is a masterclass in totally missing the point - what you have to ask yourself is did you choose to miss it on purpose. :(
-
Your bio is all about dissing religion. You’re telling me that there’s not a shred of that agenda that pushes your anti-circ chatter for that purpose only? Blinding you to the benefits of circumcision? It’s pretty obvious dude. I’m not missing anything - especially my foreskin.

I'm pro human rights. Largely the transgressors thereof are religious types complying with dogma. Sadly one of their barbaric hazing rituals, a mutilation, has recently been relabelled, mostly by those so mutilated, as a vanity choice they can impose. I'm pro choice for adults.

Why do you need to accuse people of anti-religion bias to avoid acknowledging that
#circumcision is mutilation? -
It’s a very common undertone. Especially when your anti-circ tweet is immediately followed by an anti-religion tweet. I don’t have to make this stuff up.
-
Alright. Follow-up question: What does an anti-religion bias have to do with whether or not circumcision is a harmful procedure that permanently scars and occasionally kills children? It's not a shock tactic; it takes just a few minutes of research to confirm that.
-
BTW, if you do research as you suggested I do then you will see that there is medically documented evidence of the benefits of circ. But you need to be open to it.
-
There is also medically documented evidence that the benefits of circumcision are miniscule and don't come anywhere close to outweighing the detriments. For example, cutting into a baby's genitals before its immune system is fully formed and then shoving them into a diaper.
-
So are the odds of complications. Sit on your side of the fence. We’ve chosen for our sons and will continue to do so. Thanks for your efforts though.
-
You have no right to make that choice. Let the boy choose himself. There's a reason we allow the girl to choose; Extend that same mercy to your son.
-
Actually, I do have the right. Thanks again.
