The Atlantic paywall is similarly stupid. Hard to think of a better way to make me instantly regret the expenditure.

I'm not asking for a lot: Storing the most recently viewed article in a session variable and a 301 redirect to that page upon completion of the payment flow (preferably instead of the "do you want these unnecessary upsells?" 3-step crap).
