    Almost 100 years after chemical weapons were banned in warfare, police in our country still use them against the communities they are sworn to serve. Along with & , I’m introducing a bill to ban the use of tear gas by federal & local law enforcement.

    It’s no coincidence that ICE has targeted its ‘Citizens Academy’ pilot program in Chicago. We are the nation’s first sanctuary city and have a proud welcoming community that will not tolerate another tactic to normalize the criminalization of immigrants.

    En su primer viaje oficial como presidente, AMLO podría sacar mayor provecho de su visita a Washington y, de paso, mostrar que en realidad le importan los mexicanos de este lado de la frontera.

    Un crimen deleznable. Una mujer de 20 años sirviendo a su país no merecía una muerte así; tampoco una investigación tan lenta luego de su desaparición. Al decir , exijimos transparencia en su caso y en todas las Fuerzas Armadas que no protegen a sus soldados.
