*sees Death Wish remake trailer* *gives it a moment* how about no

Like, if you wanna do a FALLING DOWN kind of look at it, maybe. But with Eli Roth at the helm, I'm thinking... nnnyeaaah not so much.
-
I didn't know they were remaking it. I see Eli Roth is attached. I'm not even going to watch the trailer.

You're lucky Chucky. You can't empathize with crime victims.

This guy hasn't tweeted since June But came back. To call you Chucky.

It amazes me that people -- who have businesses to protect -- are cool acting this way on Twitter.

You mean an absolute badass like Bruce Willis? Never see Falling Down? Or was that "too white" for you too?

I literally in that same thread talked about how I wish it looked more like FALLING DOWN, so please concern troll elsewhere.

So Denzel shooting people in The Equalizer was fine though ? Bringing race into this is silly.
-
That movie came out in 2014 but sure, your comment is valid & good.
-
Gun violence isn't a new thing. Its a silly action flick. People crowbarring real life tragedies into the conversation does no good.
-
If you wanna like it, feel free! But there are a million reasons why it is boring to remake a movie with the same boring plot & casting
-
I'm not suggesting it looks amazing, I just found the race argument a bit silly.
-
Would you like a list of white dudes who have killed recently because they felt wronged?

Is that what the movie is about?

Honest question: Would you think different it if was a POC exacting revenge for the same reason (i.e., race/color not the issue)?
-
Isn't that the plot of the Equalizer with Denzel?
-
Not really. Denzel helped out a young woman in trouble. In Death Wish, vigilante isn't a professional and is out to avenge his wife's death
-
In Death Wish, he's a vigilante not avenging his wife's death so much as taking out his anger over her death.
