An emerging solution from our White House meeting today was centered on year round E-15 fuel. The hope is that this will drive RIN process down, and when we reach 15 billion gallons, RIN prices will have fallen considerably. Studies show that threshold and RIN cost will drop.

Rins lowered the price of higher blends, and increased the margin at the pump for consumers. One industry lost in this agreement, refiners, yet all of them sans PES made money last year. This is a very bad deal for consumers, ethanol and retail gasoline.
