The Judiciary committee deserves a better, proactive chairman. Lindsey is there to make sure nothing will get done and no one will stick up for the President. He is rather suspect in my opinion.

My guess it exposes a certain Republican as being neck deep in it all. Probably multiple Republicans including party leadership at the time.
