You're a Senator & Trump is in the executive branch. Show me in the Constitution where it says either of you get some say in how the House handles its "sole power of impeachment." The constitution says, House of Representatives, that's plural, not representative. Not just the speaker, or a couple committee chairs... Take a vote and give due process, as precedent dictates. As far grand jury indictments, correct, a ham sandwich doesn't get to cross examine!
